Lindsay Hovden

Lindsay grew up in Vermillion, South Dakota. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Colorado where she graduated with honors in 2002. While attending law school at the University of South Dakota, Lindsay was a member of the South Dakota Law Review, serving as the organization's Copy Editor from 2004 to 2005. After graduating with honors in 2005 she clerked for the South Dakota Judicial Circuit Court in Sioux Falls from 2005 to 2006. After her clerkship she worked at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services in Worthington, Minnesota in their family and housing unit before joining the firm in August of 2007.

Lindsay practices in several areas includ ing business formations, estate planning, family law, and general litigation. She is licensed in South Dakota and Minnesota. Lindsay and her husband Chris live in Yankton where they are both actively involved in the community. Lindsay currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Yankton Area United Way and Volunteer Services and is the current treasurer of the Yankton County Bar Association. She also volunteers as a "big friend" with the Big Friend Little Friend program and attends Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Lindsay and Chris have one son Maddox and two spoiled dogs, Gretta and Marley.
